Special VIP Experience
SNOQUALMIE, Wash. — Some of the world’s greatest musicians will come together for a special, performance to honor the music of the English Rock musician, John Lennon, and benefiting on April 18th, at the state-of-the-art Snoqualmie Casino.
This once-in-a-lifetime concert will play host to a spectacular gathering of musicians like Alan White, Chris Squire, Sheldon Reynolds, Mandi Perkins (singer/songwriter), Shawn Smith (singer/songwriter), Elliott Easton of The Cars, Mark Hudson (songwriter/producer), Chris Squire, Spike Edney of Queen, Jamie Moses (Queen), Eric Bazilian (The Hooters), Ryan Roxie (Slash’s Snakepit), Jeff Foskett (Beach Boys), and Reek Havok, plus other musicians whose careers span the decades in the industry.
The concert features a band with guest performance from several musicians of their favorite John Lennon songs and from songs of The Beatles, The Plastic Ono Band, and John Lennon’s solo collection.
The funds that are being raised for the concert will be given to educational institutes who will be providing educative seminars on breast cancer, screening, treatment and support for less fortunate women living in Western Washington. Part of the funds will also be invested in national research institutions that focus on the discovery of the cure for breast cancer.
The musical evening is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2009 at the Snoqualmie Casino Ballroom. The concert starts at 7:30PM and VIP Private Reception will begin at 6:00PM. VIP guests will also receive a signed limited edition poster featuring the artwork of Klaus Voorman, the German Artist, musician and record producer.
The Snoqualmie Casino, owned by the Snoqualmie Tribe is surrounded by the Cascade Mountains and is the most fun and best gaming center in Western Washington. It comprises of over 170000 square feet of entertainment space. The Vegas-styled casino consists of around fifty gaming tables, ten poker tables, and 1700 slot machines. The 11000 square foot Ballroom also hosts other major high-profiled events like live concerts and poker tournaments, etc. It also consists of five posh restaurants, three lounges and bars, and a cigar lounge to help you experience the total entertainment atmosphere. It is further surrounded by exotic natural surroundings and majestic views of the famous Cascade Mountains offering a classic elegance.
The funds being raised for the Komen Puget Sound Affiliate was founded in 1993 with a mission to save lives and help find a cure to end breast cancer by empowering people, ensuring quality for all and energizing science. Since the inception, the Affiliate has invested more than $18 million in local nonprofit and government agencies that provide breast health and cancer services to under privileged residents of 16-county service areas.
