VIP Red Carpet Event Las Vegas, April 7, 2009 — Las Vegas is going against all odds for its second consecutive year at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino to welcome Miss USA 2008 back to the city. The Reality Cares’ AmeriFace Benefit presented by Gaudy PR and 944 Magazine, a red carpet charity event is also leading up to the big pageant night aiming to raise awareness for AmeriFace. AmeriFace is an organization that helps people with facial differences like cleft lips & palates. The AmeriFace Organization will also be launching its “Face Of Change Campaign”, a program wherein doctors from across the United States will commit to providing pro-bono reconstructive surgeries for patients. 

The pageant party will be held at ‘The Living Room’ in Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. The show will be attended by the biggest Las Vegas VIP red carpet reception from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. followed by a guest reception from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 2009. An official after-party will be organized at The Prive Nightclub. There will be a special appearance by AmeriFace supporter Crystle Stewart, Miss USA 2008 and star studded guests like Chuy Bravo of E!, Chelsea Lately, Carmit Bachar one of the original Pussycat Dolls, Planet Hollywood’s Peepshow Girls, Michael Boychuck , Celebrity Stylist, Frank Marino, Brent Barret, the Chippendales and many more.

The event will be hosted by the very famous Alicia Jacobs, KVBC Channel 3 Entertainment Reporter. The show also includes live performances by Las Vegas favorites, Zowie Bowie and one of Madonna’s main dance men, Mihran, on one of his first performances to promote his new record. Guests can bid on Exclusive Celebrity Experiences and Las Vegas Packages including a lunch and gossip session with Las Vegas Gossip Guru, Norm Clarke. KVBC will also be hosting “Wake Up With The Wagners” and a “VIP Planet Hollywood Peepshow Package” for VIP Experience guest, an Ultimate Manilow Package, and more – while enjoying ‘Fortune’ Vodka and Martinis. In addition to these guests will be given Joico gift bags on their departure!

The mission of AmeriFace is to provide information and emotional support to individuals with facial differences present at birth, as well as those who have acquired facial differences as a result of illness, disease or trauma, stroke, cancer, accident and burns and to support their families. It will increase public understanding through awareness programs and education.
